OUR JOURNEY
After years of coming up with small game ideas, we started our journey into proper game making in 2018, when villapupu had a dream of a drinking game that would be fun to play even for those of us who enjoy parties sober. She wanted something new, something different, and something that would actually have a tactical aspect. Development and testing started immediately, but it wasn't until 2025 when SubStance was finally finished and available for the public.
So much love went into our first ever game design: the characters of our original SubStance game are based on villapupu's 2018 Twitch community, and the original decks are self designed and handmade with care. SubStance is our proudest achievement, and it ended up starting a whole thing for us!
In 2025 after the original game was finally finished, we still had ideas and an itch for game making. Now we are developing and testing new SubStance games, and have created a bilingual conversation card collection for improving your conversational and emotional skills in Finnish/English and for getting to know your friends better in the process.
So whether you're up for a crazy drinking game or a fun night of yapping with your friends, we have something waiting for you.
In 2026 we widened our horizons with hosting Villa's bingo. With a modern, community focused and conversational approach to the age old bingo, we're bringing fun and competition to your events or game nights, customers for your business and a sense of community wherever we go.

HANDMADE DECKS
As you might already know, we design, print, cut, laminate, compile and pack our decks ourselves!
The handmade decks are absolutely perfect for social game nights because of durability, and taking care of your decks is easy! Store your cards in the box they were delivered in, and keep the deck away from heat!
If you're the clumsy type, don't worry! If a drink is spilled, just wipe down the cards with a damp cloth and dry, and you're good to go!
