After years of coming up with small game ideas, we started our journey into proper game making in 2018, when villapupu had a dream of a drinking game that would be fun to play for even those who enjoy parties sober. She wanted something new, something different, and something that would actually have a tactical aspect. Development and testing started immediately, but it wasn't until 2025 when SubStance™ was finally finished and available for the public.

So much love went into our first ever game design: the characters of our original SubStance™ game are based on villapupu's 2018 Twitch community, and the original decks are self designed and handmade with care. SubStance™ is our proudest achievement, and it ended up starting a whole thing for us!

In 2025 after the original game was finally finished, we still had ideas and an itch for game making. Now we are developing and testing new SubStance games, and have created a bilingual conversation card collection for language learning and improving conversational skills in Finnish/English -all the while getting to know your friends more deeply.

 

So whether you're up for a crazy drinking game or a fun night of yapping with your friends, we have something waiting for you.
